Mid-Lanic Gold

The sweet-and-savory all-purpose we built the whole line around — a full pound to the bag. Deep, dark bark on a brisket; just as good shaken onto wings, fries, or a backyard burger. Maryland BBQ is a real thing, and this is the rub behind it.

Meet Independence Dave

Coolest guy in 1776 — and he knows it. Dave's a Maryland Line private, the regiment that held the line at Brooklyn so Washington's army could slip away and go on to win the war. That stand is how Maryland earned its nickname — the Old Line State — and how this outfit got its name. Now he guards every bag we pack.
