Old Line Tailgate Co. is real Maryland barbecue — cooked low and slow, smoked over the kind of fire that takes all day, and served in portions that assume you came hungry.

We're four young entrepreneurs who walked away from corporate hospitality to chase a vision of our own. That vision became Old Line Tailgate Co. — and it's growing faster than we ever could have imagined.

These days we run on three burners at once. The truck rolls Wednesday through Sunday at our seasonal home base, plus festivals and private events around Frederick County. Our catering company takes the big jobs — weddings, corporate spreads, backyard throwdowns, full service. And through the week, we run the kitchen at The Dragon's Den, the medieval cocktail tavern inside Frederick's Dragon Distillery.

We're a small crew that treats this place like our own — no shortcuts, no corners cut. Just good barbecue, for as many people as we can feed.
